Lord & Company was founded in 1982 as an engineering, technical services and systems integration company. Over its 26 year history, the company has specialized in industrial automation, wireless communications, electronic security and intelligent video surveillance for both commercial and government clients. Lord & Company Technologies (L&CT) is an independent affiliate of Lord & Company, focusing on video surveillance and wireless communications.

The company is headquartered in Manassas, Virginia with other divisional and sales offices in Hampton, VA; Raleigh-Durham, NC and Fort Mill, SC. L&CT is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and is a licensed Private Securities Provider VA DCJS # 11-4808. Much of the company’s work over the years has been in the mid-Atlantic region. However, it has completed projects in California, Colorado, and Puerto Rico, and it is currently under an IDIQ contract with the U. S. Department of State for overseas projects.
